Some NEW FUN Cards

Hi Stampers!

I'm playing this afternoon and thought I'd share a couple of cards I made today.  These are for my granddaughter and Grandson.  Now I know that Chayse can't read yet, and if he actual got his hands on the card, he would EAT IT!  But I just couldn't leave him out.  I'm going to make a card everyday from now until Feb 14th for Courtnie, ( granddaughter) so she can go to the mail box everyday, ( as that is one of her chores to pick up the mail) and she'll have a cards waiting for her.  The last one will say HAPPY VALENTINES.  I thought she would enjoy that.  I know I certainly will making them.

Below I'll post the one I've made today for Courtnie,  as well as Chayse's .

Just a mention about our Feb Card Classes:

We will have classes on the following date:

Feb 7th - Tuesday and Feb 19th Sunday

Both class start at 1pm as usual and  the FEE is $ 20.00 for 4 cards

Please confirm your attendance to either class by e-mailing me.  I really appreciate that as I have to prepare the class.

In my last class that was on Jan 10th, the ladies wanted to make the four cards and 2 masculine cards.  I said we could probably do that.  BUT, once I actual completed the four cards we are going to make the will be NO time left for two others.  These four are LOVELY designed cards and have a lot of layers.  I know you will all love them, but they do take a little more time.

I will work on a class for Masculine cards, but I apologise, we can't fit them into this class.

Enjoy today creations.

This is the one for Chayse!  I love the little Dinosaurs !!  You can find this stamp set on the 2011/12 catty on page 93

I just colored the background with inks and sponges.  Colored the donosaurs in, then cut them out and used demintional to lift them ont he card.

I'm hoping he'll like looking at the card even though he can't have it.  lol

This one is Courtnie's and is the 1st of the 14 that I'll be sending her.  Thank goodness I do have a few others made so I won't fall behind.  This is actually a maze game and was in the Holiday mini which has now closed.  She'll have fun playing with it I think.

Well Stampers, don't forget, that its sale-a-bration time, and with every order of $60.00 before shipping & tax you can choose what ever you like form the sale-a-bration catty.  If there's anything I can help you with, just shot me an e-mail.

IT HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!! Jan 4th

Yes Stampers, it's here!  The NEW 2012 OCCASIONS MINI CATALOGUE....

It's wonderful to start the NEW YEAR of with NEW!  A whole NEW YEAR, a NEW CHANCE to redo or start over, what ever it is - it's NEW.  With that being said:  HAPPY NEW YEAR to each of you and your families.

For all you stampers we get to brouse through the NEW MINI and see what kind of cards we would like to make for our families and friend.  I found that STAMPIN' UP! really did well with this mini, as I LOVE everything in it.  It really is just my style for most all the stamps.  I have been playing a little and have a few cards to show you.  But I have mostly been working on Valentine themes.  Our classes will begin in the new year starting with VALENTINE themed cards, but of course for those of you that don't really want a lot of valentines, you can certainly make them towards birthday's, friendship, or thank you cards.  I will list the Jan 2012 classes below, please ensure you let me know BEFORE the deadline posted that you WILL/WILL NOT be attending.  It really help me to be better prepared for that class and I appreciate you letting me know.  So:

Jan 10th - VALENTINE THEMED class - 4 cards will be completed

TIME:  1 pm to 4 pm
Fee:      $ 20.00

Linda's House

Jan 22nd  - Stampin Card Keeper - a Valentin card ( if time provided )

Everyone is required to purchase the card keeper and I have 10 - they are 14.85 inc shipping & tax
TIME:   1 pm to 4pm
Fee:        $ 20.00

Linda's House

In this class I will supply the material to decorate your card keepers inc. the ribbon, they are a lovely way to store your hand made cards.

Again please contact me to hold your seat:  berger@eastlink.ca or 902 369 2471

Here are a few CASED card that I've made from the Occasion Mini:

This is a little hard to see, but there is a little mailbox that holds (2) nuggets, the other is one of our Match Box dies that hold (4) nuggets, and is a lovely way to present a gift with a hand made card.

The Match Box die is found in the 2011/12 Catty under the Big Shot.

This of course is another from the NEW MINI: page 8 the set is called Rue Des Fleurs!  Of course there is matching DSP and ribbon that works with this.  BUT, did you notice the awesome new ribbon at the bottom of this card. NO MORE pleating, it comes that way and is absolutely my new favorite ribbon.  It lays so easily and looks like you worked REALLY hard to make such a lovely card.

Of course you won't find many of my cards with out BLING and although they are not on this card, we have a NEW size of pearls now.  You'll find them on page 26.

OK, I took this one outside hoping for better light.  This card was CASED from Mary Brown and I LOVE it.  I did some water coloring and used the stamp set: Bordering on Romance on
page 11.

You will see on that page some of our other new items.  Finally Stampin Up has there own, Edgelit Dies and embossing folders to match.  I have done some cards with these and they work wonderfully, but I just couldn't post all the cards.

You will see in my last card below some MORE new Dies and if you have a BIG SHOT, cuttle bug or any machine that die cuts, you are going to want these!!

OK, take a peek!!

OK, look at all the HEARTS!!  Yep, on page 6 of the mini you will find the NEW HEARTS Collection - FRAMELITE dies

You can make all kinds of sizes and layer them, you can even make a Heart Shaped card.

I've used some of the new ribbon and attached it to the back of the last heart, this was SOOOOOO easy.

I used gold glitter glass and the stamp set Bordering on Romance.

YES Stampers, I think you will all LOVE the Occasions Mini and we'll be making lots of cards from these collections.

Of course if there is anything you need you can just click over to my online shopping button, and get all your own things.  The when you have some time, cards for everyone!!

So again, HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone, and I look forward to seeing you all starting in Jan.
