Letters to Santa - Stamp Camp

Hi Stampers,

I thought I would get some info on here for the upcoming STAMP CAMP!  I have a few photo's here and the dates of the class.  Your all going to have a wonderful time in this class with a lot more than just cards being made.

When:  October 11th and 16th
Time:  10 am to 4 pm

Lunch is provided as well as some lovely surprises!!

You'll have 16 + cards made and some lovely gifts for yourself or others
FEE   $ 60.00 for the day.

Here are a few photo's of the Letters to Santa portion.  Sorry, the rest will have to be a surprise.  But I promise an awesome day will be had!!

This is the outside's  of your portfolio!
OK Stampers, I've gotten two photos here.  I've been having some problems uploading pictures so I hope this will give you somewhat of an idea of what we will be doing.  Now there are more things we'll be making, but this is lets say a " Teaser"

So for now I'll leave this as is, and when I have a few moments I'll get a few more cards updated.  I guess the other info is the Oct 16th class has now filled.  Sorry, but there is a little room left for the Oct 11th, although I know this is a Tuesday, makes it a little difficult for the working stampers.

SORRY!!!!

No More Apples !

Good Day Stampers,

Well it's been a busy day here on the SHORE!  I am posting a few pic's today and they are not all cards.  I've decided some time ago that my back garden which is the largest of the three that I have, was going to have to go as I'm on the list for a NEW KNEE!  Keeping that in mind, those kind of things take time, my wait list is at least a year.  I have NO problem with that - I'm a chicken.  So, some things will have to change for me and I thought I have one year to make them.  Life will have to become somewhat simpler.

As some of you already know, the back garden was going, some of you were able to get a few plants.  Well the rest are now gone also, along with all the APPLE TREES.  They were lovely, but very old, and I thought if I planted all this new lawn and another hurricane comes along and knocks the apple trees down, there would go my new lawn.  So this is what I have for the moment.  Anyone who has been in my back yard better sit down.!!

Don't know why I can't get text where I want it.  LOL

Most everything is gone in this picture.  Now is the clean up, then plow everything, and plant grass.  Should be easy mowing now!!

This was the last tree out.  Very sad.  Hurricane Dave wasn't easy to deal with.  It was all or nothing.

Now, can I find a card to share with you guys.  Something pleasant to think about.!!

Here is one of the cards I made which is a CASE from the 2011/2012 catty.  It is using the Hostess set - Faith of Nature - and it really is a lovely set.  I've seen a lot of cards using this set, very versatile.

Here it is a little further away along with a treat the ladies will be receiving when they attend our regular monthly class on Sept 13th.

Can't wait to see you all, now that we are back to regular card classes again.

Have a wonderful weekend STAMPERS.

EEEKS!! Trick or TREAT !!

What would you do if one of these guys showed up at your DOOR!!  I would give them all the candy I had and RUN, except these four treaters are just to cute.  They are four little bears, ok, they are supposed to be bears, my husband thought they were dogs.  Lol

We were challenged by our upline Carol Matthews to create a card using nothing but PUNCHES!  I thought, and thought, suffered the net, many times, finally came up with these four creaters.

Sorry TEAM MEMBERS, those of you who may be peeking at my blog will see these lovelies before you receive them.  But you never know, it's soon HALLOW E'EN and what kinds of tricks may be played on you!
  "Trick or Treat "  !!!!

Aren't these guys scary - LOL!!  OK, maybe a little to far away to see.  I'll post them individually and if you want a closer view you can double click on the photo and that will enlarge it for you, BUT be careful, you've been warned.!!

We have here Bear Frankenstein on the left and Bear Vampire on the right!

I tell you if this showed up at my door, I would be a little intimidated.  I was scared just putting them together.

Nope!  This will not be a class, have no fear STAMPERS.

They're just a little more than I can handle - one at a time.  Lol

On the left is Bear Mummy - That sounds strange, no its not what you think!  Then over to your right is the Devil Bear.  Well do I have you shaking in you boots yet.

For the STAMPERS who are coming to the Sept 13th or 18th class please let me know as soon as you can so I can prepare enough cards.  Thanks.....Hope you enjoyed the scary look, and we'll talk soon.

Are you all READY !!!!

It's time STAMPERS !!

WOW, yep, as much as I hate to say it, SUMMER is coming to an end.  The kids are going back to school, routine will begin our days again.  But that's not all bad news, NO! NOT AT ALL, along with routine comes our once a month regular CARD CLASSES.

Starting with     SEPT 13th  TUESDAY group @ 1 PM

Then   on     Sept 18th for the SUNDAY group @ 1 pm

We will be competing 4 cards and the fee is $ 20.00  - you will be learning the MASKING technique and the cards will be of a variety, BUT of course there will be ONE  HALLOWEEN themed card.  Stampers - please bring your paper trimmers, as you will be doing some cutting of the cards yourselves.  NO FEAR, I will be right by your side, and it won't be a huge amount.  Just some basics.  Lol  Also, remember your scissors, adhesives, etc all the regular paper crafting materials we use in class - ( your stamp kits )

This class is to get everyone back into the swing of things because in October we'll have the STAMP CAMP, a day of card, 3D items, that may be given as gifts or maybe something special for yourself.  There's lots planned for the coming months stampers, so lets get those inky fingers ready!!

So just to show all of my fellow stampers, my summer wasn't all work and gardening I have a few cards I'll share.  I won't post to many as they are more spectacular in person and you'll see a LOT when you come to class.  Plus it takes forever to upload these out here on the SHORE.  When you are here for card class you'll have LOTS & LOTS to see as  I just have to share some of the NEW, HOT ITEMS from the NEW CATTY as well the NEW HOLIDAY MINI, which by the way I have one for all of you to drool over.

So here are a few favorites :

This is a card I made my Mother In-Law for her Birthday Day using the Shaker Frames, which you 'll see in the Holiday Mini.  There are wonderful and you can use the Shaker Frames any where on the card you like.  They can be filled with little beads, glitter, what ever your heart desires.  Of course there always has to be a little glam so I used our rhinestones on the flower.

This one is also a new stamp set and it comes with three other lovely stamps.  They are wonderful for water coloring which is what I did here.  The set is called Always Thankful and this ones is perfect for FALL.

Here is a FUN set using one of the NEW HOSTESS set that you can now purchase for an excellent price when you place a qualifying order.

I also made a little gift box and a couple of treats are inside this lovely little mini box, which I later found out it fits an AFTER DINNER MINT perfectly.  What a lovely way to finish a Thanks Giving Meal with your families.

Well I hoped you enjoyed just a couple, and I mean a couple of the new, exciting things that are here from the Mini and the NEW 2011 / 2012 Catty.  We're going to have a great time creating some of these new cards and 3D gifts.  I look forward to seeing everyone, and sharing some of our summer stories.

SEE YOU SOON!!!!
