Yes! Two days in a ROW

I have a couple more cards sets that I've been playing with and I'll add the info that goes with them below:

Here is the set inside this wonderful case that holds everything together.  This would be a lovely gift set for someone special!

You can find instructions on completing this complete set at Illina Crouse's blog.
Sorry I just tried to find her web address, but if you type her name into the search on google and add Stampin' UP!  after it, you will find her web site quite easily.

Here is what it looks like opened with  10 cards and envelopes fitting perfectly inside

I also want to mention that Illina's instructions are very easy to follow and you can make all these cards with everything that's in the scrappin kit.

Now where can I get the kit you ask?

Well on page 21 of the occasions mini that runs until April 30 is where you will find everything you need. Keep in mind, that when you purchase the kit and add a couple extra needs/ wants/ must have totaling $60.00 you can choose a FREE item from the sale-a bration catalogue which ends March 30th.

Here's a quick shot of some of the cards inside.  Honestly, the photo's don't do them justice.  They are lovely cards and I know that any family member, grandparent or friend would love to receive this set as a gift.  Don't forget Easter is coming FAST!

OK how about one more quick set!

I LOVE these cards!  You're My Type.

This stamp set is also the perfect set for making little note cards:  great for co-workers, husbands lunch box, kids too!

The stamp set is on page 27 of the occasions mini.  BUT, have you notice the lovely cuts in the cards?   This is done with Stampin Up!'s NEW Edgelit dies, found on page 7 of the same mini.

Honestly there's NO END to what you can do with these dies, and you don't have to have a big shot, you can use any die cutting machine that you may own.  Whats also cool is these dies ( edgelits ) have a matching embossing folder so you can really make the edges POP!  The folders are also on page 7.  I've got the perfect idea, with the Simply Scrappin Kit, the edgelit dies and the embossing folders your almost there to your FREE gift, just throw in a few embellishments, ( ribbon, jewels, pearls) etc.  Imagine the cards you'll have now.

Well happy stampin, STAMPERSSee you soon at the next class.

Hi Stamper,

What!!   Is it  March already and only 25 days left to get your "FREE" gift through sale-a-bration.  Any order of $60.00 or more allows you to choose an item from the sale-a-bration catty.  There's lots of wonderful items from stamps, papers, even big shot items!

My Up-Line very kindly said " post something on your site so I can see what your up too", I think it was a hint.  I will admit, I've been naughty lately.  Can I use the excuse busy with year ends, T4's etc.

Anyway, here's a few photos of what I've been doing plus one of our upcoming classes!!

March 12th class is the FLOWER POT & Card class:  look what I found hanging out by my front door!

Isn't he / she a cutie.  This is the project we'll be completing on

March 12/ @ 1pm
Class fee: 25.00
Class is FULL

We'll be learning how to make all these flowers with the BIG SHOT and although its a little hard to see, there's a butterfly and jewels in there also.  You see our little feathered friend in there too! I think if you double click on the photo it will enlarge it.

We will also be making a matching card, so if you can bring yourself to give it away, you'll have a card to go with it.

Here's our Mother/Daughter/Grandmother/Granddaughter CLASS!

Yes that's a mouth full ...

March 25th
1pm to 4 pm
Fee:  15.00 per child
Sorry Class is FULL!

There will be -  I think it's 6 - 8 cards with matching envelops.  Moms and Grandmothers will be helping along.  The girls are going to LOVE this class and there is a lovely variety of cards made here.

This is a close up of one of my favorite cards, but honestly they are all to sweet!!!!

Easter, have any of you been thinking of EASTER -?

Isent' this little bag the cutest, and its filled with Easter Cards.

Now I just checked the calender and OH MY!  It's arriving quicker than I realized.

I'll soon have to get these mailed.

These stamps are found in the IB& C book - ( that's the BIG Catalogue) on page 48.  Everybunny is the stamp set name.

Here's a little look at whats inside the chicken!  Lol

These are all water colored and I know that my granddaughter and any kids would love receiving this in the mail for EASTER!  Specially with a little treat inside. ( $$$ )

OK, I do have some more photo's, but I'll save them for tomorrow.  Imagine, two days in a row.  Boy, I'm on a roll now.

Some NEW FUN Cards

Hi Stampers!

I'm playing this afternoon and thought I'd share a couple of cards I made today.  These are for my granddaughter and Grandson.  Now I know that Chayse can't read yet, and if he actual got his hands on the card, he would EAT IT!  But I just couldn't leave him out.  I'm going to make a card everyday from now until Feb 14th for Courtnie, ( granddaughter) so she can go to the mail box everyday, ( as that is one of her chores to pick up the mail) and she'll have a cards waiting for her.  The last one will say HAPPY VALENTINES.  I thought she would enjoy that.  I know I certainly will making them.

Below I'll post the one I've made today for Courtnie,  as well as Chayse's .

Just a mention about our Feb Card Classes:

We will have classes on the following date:

Feb 7th - Tuesday and Feb 19th Sunday

Both class start at 1pm as usual and  the FEE is $ 20.00 for 4 cards

Please confirm your attendance to either class by e-mailing me.  I really appreciate that as I have to prepare the class.

In my last class that was on Jan 10th, the ladies wanted to make the four cards and 2 masculine cards.  I said we could probably do that.  BUT, once I actual completed the four cards we are going to make the will be NO time left for two others.  These four are LOVELY designed cards and have a lot of layers.  I know you will all love them, but they do take a little more time.

I will work on a class for Masculine cards, but I apologise, we can't fit them into this class.

Enjoy today creations.

This is the one for Chayse!  I love the little Dinosaurs !!  You can find this stamp set on the 2011/12 catty on page 93

I just colored the background with inks and sponges.  Colored the donosaurs in, then cut them out and used demintional to lift them ont he card.

I'm hoping he'll like looking at the card even though he can't have it.  lol

This one is Courtnie's and is the 1st of the 14 that I'll be sending her.  Thank goodness I do have a few others made so I won't fall behind.  This is actually a maze game and was in the Holiday mini which has now closed.  She'll have fun playing with it I think.

Well Stampers, don't forget, that its sale-a-bration time, and with every order of $60.00 before shipping & tax you can choose what ever you like form the sale-a-bration catty.  If there's anything I can help you with, just shot me an e-mail.

Yes Stampers, it's here!  The NEW 2012 OCCASIONS MINI CATALOGUE....

It's wonderful to start the NEW YEAR of with NEW!  A whole NEW YEAR, a NEW CHANCE to redo or start over, what ever it is - it's NEW.  With that being said:  HAPPY NEW YEAR to each of you and your families.

For all you stampers we get to brouse through the NEW MINI and see what kind of cards we would like to make for our families and friend.  I found that STAMPIN' UP! really did well with this mini, as I LOVE everything in it.  It really is just my style for most all the stamps.  I have been playing a little and have a few cards to show you.  But I have mostly been working on Valentine themes.  Our classes will begin in the new year starting with VALENTINE themed cards, but of course for those of you that don't really want a lot of valentines, you can certainly make them towards birthday's, friendship, or thank you cards.  I will list the Jan 2012 classes below, please ensure you let me know BEFORE the deadline posted that you WILL/WILL NOT be attending.  It really help me to be better prepared for that class and I appreciate you letting me know.  So:

Jan 10th - VALENTINE THEMED class - 4 cards will be completed

TIME:  1 pm to 4 pm
Fee:      $ 20.00

Linda's House

Jan 22nd  - Stampin Card Keeper - a Valentin card ( if time provided )

Everyone is required to purchase the card keeper and I have 10 - they are 14.85 inc shipping & tax
TIME:   1 pm to 4pm
Fee:        $ 20.00

Linda's House

In this class I will supply the material to decorate your card keepers inc. the ribbon, they are a lovely way to store your hand made cards.

Again please contact me to hold your seat: or 902 369 2471

Here are a few CASED card that I've made from the Occasion Mini:

This is a little hard to see, but there is a little mailbox that holds (2) nuggets, the other is one of our Match Box dies that hold (4) nuggets, and is a lovely way to present a gift with a hand made card.

The Match Box die is found in the 2011/12 Catty under the Big Shot.

This of course is another from the NEW MINI: page 8 the set is called Rue Des Fleurs!  Of course there is matching DSP and ribbon that works with this.  BUT, did you notice the awesome new ribbon at the bottom of this card. NO MORE pleating, it comes that way and is absolutely my new favorite ribbon.  It lays so easily and looks like you worked REALLY hard to make such a lovely card.

Of course you won't find many of my cards with out BLING and although they are not on this card, we have a NEW size of pearls now.  You'll find them on page 26.

OK, I took this one outside hoping for better light.  This card was CASED from Mary Brown and I LOVE it.  I did some water coloring and used the stamp set: Bordering on Romance on
page 11.

You will see on that page some of our other new items.  Finally Stampin Up has there own, Edgelit Dies and embossing folders to match.  I have done some cards with these and they work wonderfully, but I just couldn't post all the cards.

You will see in my last card below some MORE new Dies and if you have a BIG SHOT, cuttle bug or any machine that die cuts, you are going to want these!!

OK, take a peek!!

OK, look at all the HEARTS!!  Yep, on page 6 of the mini you will find the NEW HEARTS Collection - FRAMELITE dies

You can make all kinds of sizes and layer them, you can even make a Heart Shaped card.

I've used some of the new ribbon and attached it to the back of the last heart, this was SOOOOOO easy.

I used gold glitter glass and the stamp set Bordering on Romance.

YES Stampers, I think you will all LOVE the Occasions Mini and we'll be making lots of cards from these collections.

Of course if there is anything you need you can just click over to my online shopping button, and get all your own things.  The when you have some time, cards for everyone!!

So again, HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone, and I look forward to seeing you all starting in Jan.
