FIVE more sleeps!!

It's hard to believe how fast time goes by when your having FUN!!  I have been busy, working, you know the day to day things.  BUT I have also been having some FUN.  I've  been trying to get some card sets completed to send to my family in Alberta.  I'm going to show you a couple of them below.  I also want to remind everyone about classes in January  - YES 2011.

The first class will be held on:  Jan 11th and it's FREE!!!  What we will be doing is working on YOUR projects.  I want you to bring a few of your stamps sets that you would like to use.  Bring your papers, glue, etc.  all the materials you need to make cards and I'm going to help you make cards with your own stashes.

Now, you can use all my tools, but you need your own papers.  Don't forget your CHALKS - they are a perfect way to get color on your cards.  At the class I will have a few announcements !  Very exciting.

Class dates are as follows

Jan 11th  @ 1 pm

Jan 30th @ 1 pm

This is a Birthday Card made with our  Greenhouse Garden - two step stamp.  It is a really fun stamp set to use, and very, very versatile.
I have also used the Medallion stamp and the French Filigree back ground stamp.

These background stamps are really a must have.  At least one of them.  They are a great way to fill your card with coordinating ink.

Butterfly Delight Card

Here's a wonderful card the uses the single Butterfly Stamp.  It was in one of the previous mini's, so now I guess it is retired.  I just love it though.  There are a lot of butterflies in the 2010 Idea book that can be used in place of this one.

This card is an all occasion card, and these are two of the 4 that I have made for my card sets to send to family.  Oh my, I all most forgot, the BLING - on the butterfly's are our wonderful Jewel Basic Rhinestones.  They are PERFECT to fill in the butterflies body.  Although you can't tell on the photo, they sparkle like diamonds.  I just LOVE them.

Bye for now!

They can easily be used over next year also.

 Happy Birthday to You !!
COURTNIE - 12 years old Dec 1st

Next are the little surprises, for the girls on Dec 7th, although I guess after they see this - awe they'll be NO surprise, but I have to show everyone.

Hostess Gift - Calender Card /Staionary Set

Hi Stampers:
I thought I would show everyone what I did today.  I recently purchased this stamp class from Jenny Moors.  She is one of my favorites.  I decided that anyone who has a class for me in the month of January will receive this beautiful gift set.  NOW!  here's the great thing.  You can have the class or workshop at my house.  In fact I really would prefer that.  All you have to do is call me, we can discuss, WHEN, HOW MANY, and WHAT you would like to have.  All you have to do is invite, and arrive.  I'll do all the rest.  If you have a class, it is $ 25.00 per person.  BUT - you are FREE!!  Yep, you DO NOT pay for the class.  If you have a workshop, then it's FREE for all.  I simply show everyone what card making/paper crafting and Stamin'UP! is all about.  As the hostess, you receive ALL the credit for the class or workshop from any purchases.  It's really all about YOU!!  Call me, we can talk about all the details later.  So here's the awesome gift you will receive when you invite your friends to try out Stampin' Up!

Here are the three cards that go inside of the Calender set.  You have a drawer to store the cards in, once they are gone, replace them with a note pad and a pen.  Leave this lovely set by the phone and NEVER have to look for a pad & pen again.  It's the cutest gift set ever!  AND it can be YOURS FREE!

As you can see the cards fit beautifully inside, which also has three matching envelopes.  Lots of room for a sticky note pad and pen.  BUT, you will always know the day of the month too!  There's a 2011 calender on top.  Don't you think you need this lovely set.  Book a class or workshop with me, and it's yours.  Look forward to hearing from you.

Below are a few pic's of the other things I did today!  No laughing people ....

All right, SUPPER time, we'll maybe I didn't feed them. But I did take photo's of them all eating.

Here the cows are waiting to be fed!  There's only about 150 including the calves, and 3 bulls.
Yep, life on the FARM!

Here my Hubby is piling bales of straw.  There are over 200 bales here.  Need any!

Tealight Card

Hi Stampers:
Well I have a few moments this afternoon, and thought I would get another project completed to show everyone what we'll be making in our projects class.  As I said, the class we have on Nov 28th and the Dec 7th will not be cards, but projects instead.  Gifts you can give for Christmas, or keep for yourselves.  Here is the last project completed.  The Tea Light Card!
But, just before that, I must tell you who has won the bag and contents from the All Day Stamp Camp!
I  had my husband draw the name, and ANGELA VandeRiet, your the luck STAMPER!

Tea Light Card - LOVE IT!

There you go isn't this just the cutest card.  On you right is the greeting.  The Snowman family are just toooo sweet! If you want to look closer, all you have to do is double click on the photo, I believe that enlarges it.   For the rest of the projects we'll be making just scroll down and you should see them on a previous posting.
Can't wait to see everyone.  By for now!

Nov 28th & Dec 7th Classes

Hi Stampers:

Thought I would give a sample of our final upcoming classes for the year.  On Nov 28th and Dec 7th I will be having the last classes for 2010.  Both these classes will be the same.  Please let me know for the Nov 28th if you will be attending.  I will need notice by:  Nov 21st for your attendance

Sunday Nov 28th
1 pm to 4pm
Fee:  $ 25.00

Photo attached of the projects that we will be completing.  These are wonderful gift ideas for Grandparents, a dear friend ( who has everything), or even as a Secret Santa gift.

Tuesday Dec 7th
1 pm to 4 pm
Fee:  $ 25.00

This class has only 2 seats left.  Both classes are at my home:

Please Note:  There is one project missing here that we WILL be completing, but I used it as a give away last class - have to make another.  It is a lovely Tealight holder card.  It actually hold (3) tealights and has a built in card.  It's beautiful, and one of my favorite projects.  You will also complete the magnetic memo pad and a cute little book style card that holds (2) little individual tea sachets or it could be chocolates, and you will have a matching card, in case you want to give everything as a complete gift set.  SO, that's three ( 3D items ) and a lovely matching card.  This will be a very fun class and a step away from the regular card class.  I hope to hear from everyone, just remember to please give me notice of your attendance.  If I have time, I will make another of the tealight project and attach it to the blog so you can view it also.
Take Care - Linda

PS - The NEW Mini will be out Dec 1st for the coming quarter, all I can say is
" OH MY MY!"  It is honestly the nicest one I have seen yet.  I will have to start with what I DON'T WANT - as the wants are tooooo many!  I can't wait to show you guy's what Stamin'Up! is coming out with.

What's New !!

Hi Stampers:
I know, long time - haven't heard from me.  I've been trying to catch up since my daughter had the baby.  I had to take a week off work as I had our lovely granddaughter while Mom was busy having the baby.  Anyway, all is well on that front, Chayse is gaining weight and Mom  ( Chrystal ) is enjoying every second.
After the baby, I had catchup time with my clients, now completed.  Then I had to prepare for the Nov 7th stamp camp.  What a day!!  Twenty cards completed along with two boxes.  All completed!!  The stampers were so excited by what they had done at days end.  I have a photo of some of the girls.  By time I remembered one had left and one said she took a horrible photo and didn't want to be in it, I can understand that. Here's the stampers with some of their goodies!

Yes!  They are pretty happy with the box's and completed cards.  Although looks like Angela forgot to say cheese.

These are a WONDERFUL group of ladies and so kind to me when I goof up and forget to tell them a step, then we have to go back and fix.

I have another group of ladies who also attended a Stamp Camp in Oct and I forgot to get their photo's.  They too are an awesome group, and I promise, next class - photo's first!!
Well I now have a class I have to prepare for in Muncton, NB.  A friend of mine has asked if I would come and do (2) classes for her.  She has some NEW ladies that want to make Christmas cards.  So in two weeks off to Muncton.  This coming Saturday the 20th I will be with my Upline - Carol Matthews at a Craft Fair in Truro, NS.  It is at the agri-collage, so that will be a busy day.  Perhaps I'll see some of you there.  Best place to get all your Christmas gifts for those that have everything.  Most items there are hand made by very loving hands!
Take Care all!

See you Sunday at 10 AM !!

Class Change!!

Hi Stampers:

Due to the new arrival in our family, things have just been to busy.  I am going to have to change our Oct 24th class to OCTOBER 31st at 9:30 AM.  Anyone who has prepaid for this class may certainly choose a class at a later time.  For those of you who could not make the original date of Oct 24th - perhaps the NEW date will now work for you.  I look forward to seeing you on Oct 31st.  HAPPY HALLOWEEN stampers.

ASI October CARD Share & Lots MORE!!

Hi Stampers,  well I thought since I was updating things, as usual, I'd better get everything done at once.  We had our quarterly team meeting for our group and what a fun, fun day we had.  First of all, here is our October monthly card exchange:
Sandie's card is the Left and Maree's card is to the right.  Hope I have the directions correct.  My card in the the lower right side

This is a VERY versatile stamp set, I've even seen this stamp set used on Christmas cards.   It's so funny, that we all used the same stamp set.  The only info we are given is the color of the card stock to use.  The rest is up to you.  We all choose the same stamps.

Here is a technique called VersaMark Resist.  You use a VersaMark ink pad and colored  embossing powders.  A heat tool is used to set the powders.  I was able to give a frosted effect on parts of the tree limbs.  This is a technique that we will be doing in the New Year!  I really enjoyed the different looks that you can achieve.
It's a little hard to see, but the lighter portion is the silvering on the card to give the frosted look!
This is another project we made at our quarterly meeting.  A memo pad, and, well, I had to make a matching card when I got home.  For those of you who will be coming to the Dec class, we are going to make this.  It can sit by your phone or it has a magnet and can be placed on your fridge.  I have a couple more project also we will complete!

Well stampers, that's it for now.  It's of to get the granddaughter UP, and to the hosp for us.  I think Mom is going home tomorrow, so it'll be our last visit to the hosp.

Just a little NOTE:

I will post this separately, but I had to change the Oct 24th class and will be having it on Oct 31st.  I know - Halloween Day!!  It will be at 9:30 am instead and I thought that would give lots of time to get home and get the little ghouls ready for the evening events.  I am sorry about the inconvenience, for those ladies that have prepaid, your good for another class of your choice.  Thanks Stamper!

Well Stamper’s this is what has kept me busy !!!!

He has arrived, 35 hours after my daughters water broke this is our little bundle of joy!
Here’s his arrival time/date/weight.  Well I guess its hard to read - Oct 20th @ 1pm weight : 8.9lbs

Top photo is Chayse with his BIG SISTER Courtnie!   Courtnie asked me if this was a dream, she couldn’t believe he finally arrived.
Welcome :     Chayse Lyam Baggaton.

Stampin Pastels

Hi Stampers

Just thought I would show you a really cute card that is completely colored with Stampin Pastels.  Now I know there are a few of you ladies that purchase the pastels and I hope you have been using them.  If NOT!,  well here's the perfect time. Also, if you need a Christmas stamp, there's no better time.  Staring Oct 19 to Dec 16th you can purchase the Christmas bundles from Stampin UP!  If you go to my stampin up web site at
http://lindaberger.stampinup.net you will find the 20% sale for the bundles.  If you need help with this, please feel free to call me and I can personally help you.  This stamp set that is shown below as well as a beautiful Christmas papers pack is one of the product bundles.  You really don't want to miss this if you want to make any hand made Christmas cards for your family & friends.  Remember, Stampin Pastels provide you with ALL the color families in one container.  Its the best way to get all you colors at one time for your dollar.  So here the card!

This is a blowup of the bells, again all colored with Stampin' Pastels.  I think they work great.  The bells are all apart of the Bells & Boughs stamp set that is in the bundle.

Here's the whole card.  I'm very happy the way it turned out.  It is very, very easy to make.  I used silver glass glitter that is in the Holiday Mini on page 21.

You will find one of the bundles that Stampin Up! is selling for 20% off on page 18 & 19 of the mini.  If you need any other information please give me a call.  I'd be happy to help.  Enjoy those Stampin' Pastels - stampers.

Hi Stampers

Wow!  What a time I had getting onto my blog to update.  But I'm here.  Just wanted to share a card that we'll be making at out quarterly Team Meeting.  Each one of use has to make a card and share it with the other team members.  Here's a little peak at mine.  I love this card and it is such fun to make that I have to some how incorperate it into a class for my stampin ladies.  Here the peek:

I know, it doesn't show much, BUT I can't.  Don't want to ruin the surprise.  But it is a lot of fun to make.

Well, that's it for now, but I have a nice project that I'm working on now and will have completed tomorrow evening.  I'll post it for all to see.  I think it'll be our December class.  It'll be early Dec!

 Bye for now - Stampers

I'm Back - But where to start!

Hi Stampers,
I know, it's been awhile.  Between work, going away for the weekend scrapping, and well, just everyday life, I haven't been able to post.  Yep!  The scrap weekend was awesome!!  Not much sleep though, I really needed two days after I got home to catch up.  You would never believe what a room might look like with 80 women and all their scrapping material.  BUT IT'S VERY VERY CROWED.

Here's a little look at what the back of the SUV looks like when only (2) of us are going - really not an inch to spare:   My girlfriend Angela and I and all we could fit in the back -( scrap-crap ) we call it!

So where to start.  First I'm going to post info about my upcoming class on Oct 24th.  I have already given a few sneak peeks of what we'll be doing, so now I'll give you the full view of one of the cards:

This is one of the cards out of  three that we'll be doing.  This little guy is just too cute, and you know me - love bling - so his antenna's have little rhinestones, hard to see on the photo.

Oct 24th - 1pm to 4pm  sorry stampers only 2 seats left, so register quickly!!

I also have finished one of the Stamp Camp which was held on Oct 3rd.  What a blast, we made 200 cards all together.  Busy,BUSY,Busy can not be understated, and the stampers LOVED every minute.  Of course I feed them all too, so that helped.  But really, what better way to get a jump start on your Christmas Cards then through an event like this.  There is another coming up on Nov 7th and at this moment I am full - BUT, you never know, someone may cancel, so if you are interested please call and put your name on the wait list.  You never know, you may get all those cards done!  Here are a couple of Christmas cards I've been playing around with, as well as ONE that the Nov 7th ladies will be doing.  Now I'm not going to tell you guys which is the Nov 7th one because I want it to be a surprise, but feel free to take a guess at which one we'll be doing,  It is a very special card and was the favorite of everyone at the last Stamp Camp!

This one is a snow globe, which has snowy glitter inside the little globe.
" Peace on Earth"

This is called Bells & Boughs, one of our new stamps sets from the Holiday Mini.  Of course it requires some glitter around the oval.  Love this little card.  Uses the new ribbon called 1/2 " seaming binding - strange ribbon name, don't you think?  But that's what the mini says - page 21.
Glitter around the oval and it too is on the same page.  I love the glitter .....

Although this picture is not showing you how wonderful the silvers and blues are, that is the colors.  Sorry, perhaps a photographer I am not.  But as you can see the ornaments are in 3D.  Isn't that cool.

Oh yes!!!  I must show you my project I finished today!!  It is SO MUCH FUN to do, and you can really play around with it a lot:

OK, I know the top of the roof looks a little funny, I was trying to make it look like snow!  Then tried to fix it up with LOTS & LOTS of glitter.  All in all, I am happy with it.  It's perfect for putting a little battery operated light in on a table.  Awesome little accent for the holidays, and guess what!  Yep, it's in the Holiday Mini on page 37 and is very inexpensive at only $ 7.50 - need one - give me a call and I can take care of that for you.

Weekend away! Yah ...

Hi Stampers,

Just a little note to tell you all I am still here, but I've been very busy lately getting ready for the upcoming Stamp Camp, Oct 3rd, which by the way is FULL!!  Right, NO seats left.  But good news, because of demand I am having a second day on Nov7th, which at this time is HALF FULL.   There is a post below with all the info.   People, if you want to attend you'll have to respond ASAP, it won't take long to fill up.  You won't want to miss the fun, never mind completing 20 cards and lots more through out the day.  Oh yes, and lots of food too, with  lunch provided.

So I'm away this weekend,  there are 80 of us ladies that wait one whole year for this event, and this weekend has finally arrived.  Scrapbooking/stamping - 24/7 if you wish, with as little sleep as possible.  Now if I can just sleep tonight, I should be able to get at least one whole album completed.  After all, we have a new little one coming, he too will need an album.

Have a great weekend everyone, I'll have some new post by mid week next week, photo's. cards all kinds of fun things!!
Linda

OH BABY !!!

OK, Some days there not time to post, then some days I just can't stop.  I was home today, so I got a few things done.  So this is my last post today.  If you don't know we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our Grandson.  Yes, that's right, we know already, IT"S A BOY!!  My daughter's baby shower is this coming Sunday, so more cards are needed.  Here are two that I made for the occasion.  Enjoy!

So here she is, my little girl, her due date is Oct 22nd, but she's ready now.  Decisions, Decisions, which card to use!  What do you think?

Getting Married ! Well maybe not you ....

But our niece is getting married, so you know I had to make a special cards as everyone would be looking at it!  What do you think?  I love it - hope she does too!

I love this card and it was very simple, I used my Big Shot to emboss the background with the Elegant Lines embossing folder.  Then I used some of the Paper Daisies and the Antique Brads.  To finish it off perfectly, I used our new Basic Rhinestones.  This card was a case from another Stampin'Up! Demo - Patty Bennett.  I loved it as soon as I saw it and new it was perfect for our niece.  Hope you like it too, and feel free to case it from me.

Eight more SLEEPS! Yep ..

Every year I go with my girlfriend to NB for a Scrappin Weekend.  There are about 80 ladies in all, and that's all we do do - all weekend.  From the moment we open our eyes, for as long as we can keep them open.  All our meals, snacks, treats, every thing is prepared for us.  We have to do NOTHING .....  but SCRAP.  There are 6 of us that share a cabin every year.  Every year we make a little gift for the other friends, this year I'll bet you can't guess what I'll be making - you got it - CARDS!!  I have made a little set of christmas cards and a small
4 x 4 box to hold them.  I thought  I would share them with my stamp'in friends.  Here's a peek -

Here they are! The rest of our Monthly Swaps

Here are the last two cards I received from the other ladies on our team.  I love how they all fit together so nicely and yet they have all been completed by four different people.  All I suggested was some of the colors, the rest was up to the individual.  I think this would be an awesome class!  What so you stampers think?  Leave a comment and let me know.  We could have this as a class before the holidays arrive!

These are the last two for this month.  But we share every month and I'll keep you posted!
