Class Change!!

Hi Stampers:

Due to the new arrival in our family, things have just been to busy.  I am going to have to change our Oct 24th class to OCTOBER 31st at 9:30 AM.  Anyone who has prepaid for this class may certainly choose a class at a later time.  For those of you who could not make the original date of Oct 24th - perhaps the NEW date will now work for you.  I look forward to seeing you on Oct 31st.  HAPPY HALLOWEEN stampers.

ASI October CARD Share & Lots MORE!!

Hi Stampers,  well I thought since I was updating things, as usual, I'd better get everything done at once.  We had our quarterly team meeting for our group and what a fun, fun day we had.  First of all, here is our October monthly card exchange:
Sandie's card is the Left and Maree's card is to the right.  Hope I have the directions correct.  My card in the the lower right side

This is a VERY versatile stamp set, I've even seen this stamp set used on Christmas cards.   It's so funny, that we all used the same stamp set.  The only info we are given is the color of the card stock to use.  The rest is up to you.  We all choose the same stamps.

Here is a technique called VersaMark Resist.  You use a VersaMark ink pad and colored  embossing powders.  A heat tool is used to set the powders.  I was able to give a frosted effect on parts of the tree limbs.  This is a technique that we will be doing in the New Year!  I really enjoyed the different looks that you can achieve.
It's a little hard to see, but the lighter portion is the silvering on the card to give the frosted look!
This is another project we made at our quarterly meeting.  A memo pad, and, well, I had to make a matching card when I got home.  For those of you who will be coming to the Dec class, we are going to make this.  It can sit by your phone or it has a magnet and can be placed on your fridge.  I have a couple more project also we will complete!

Well stampers, that's it for now.  It's of to get the granddaughter UP, and to the hosp for us.  I think Mom is going home tomorrow, so it'll be our last visit to the hosp.

Just a little NOTE:

I will post this separately, but I had to change the Oct 24th class and will be having it on Oct 31st.  I know - Halloween Day!!  It will be at 9:30 am instead and I thought that would give lots of time to get home and get the little ghouls ready for the evening events.  I am sorry about the inconvenience, for those ladies that have prepaid, your good for another class of your choice.  Thanks Stamper!

Well Stamper’s this is what has kept me busy !!!!

He has arrived, 35 hours after my daughters water broke this is our little bundle of joy!
Here’s his arrival time/date/weight.  Well I guess its hard to read - Oct 20th @ 1pm weight : 8.9lbs

Stampin Pastels

Hi Stampers

Just thought I would show you a really cute card that is completely colored with Stampin Pastels.  Now I know there are a few of you ladies that purchase the pastels and I hope you have been using them.  If NOT!,  well here's the perfect time. Also, if you need a Christmas stamp, there's no better time.  Staring Oct 19 to Dec 16th you can purchase the Christmas bundles from Stampin UP!  If you go to my stampin up web site at
http://lindaberger.stampinup.net you will find the 20% sale for the bundles.  If you need help with this, please feel free to call me and I can personally help you.  This stamp set that is shown below as well as a beautiful Christmas papers pack is one of the product bundles.  You really don't want to miss this if you want to make any hand made Christmas cards for your family & friends.  Remember, Stampin Pastels provide you with ALL the color families in one container.  Its the best way to get all you colors at one time for your dollar.  So here the card!

This is a blowup of the bells, again all colored with Stampin' Pastels.  I think they work great.  The bells are all apart of the Bells & Boughs stamp set that is in the bundle.

Here's the whole card.  I'm very happy the way it turned out.  It is very, very easy to make.  I used silver glass glitter that is in the Holiday Mini on page 21.

You will find one of the bundles that Stampin Up! is selling for 20% off on page 18 & 19 of the mini.  If you need any other information please give me a call.  I'd be happy to help.  Enjoy those Stampin' Pastels - stampers.

Hi Stampers

Wow!  What a time I had getting onto my blog to update.  But I'm here.  Just wanted to share a card that we'll be making at out quarterly Team Meeting.  Each one of use has to make a card and share it with the other team members.  Here's a little peak at mine.  I love this card and it is such fun to make that I have to some how incorperate it into a class for my stampin ladies.  Here the peek:

I know, it doesn't show much, BUT I can't.  Don't want to ruin the surprise.  But it is a lot of fun to make.

Well, that's it for now, but I have a nice project that I'm working on now and will have completed tomorrow evening.  I'll post it for all to see.  I think it'll be our December class.  It'll be early Dec!

 Bye for now - Stampers

I'm Back - But where to start!

Hi Stampers,
I know, it's been awhile.  Between work, going away for the weekend scrapping, and well, just everyday life, I haven't been able to post.  Yep!  The scrap weekend was awesome!!  Not much sleep though, I really needed two days after I got home to catch up.  You would never believe what a room might look like with 80 women and all their scrapping material.  BUT IT'S VERY VERY CROWED.

Here's a little look at what the back of the SUV looks like when only (2) of us are going - really not an inch to spare:   My girlfriend Angela and I and all we could fit in the back -( scrap-crap ) we call it!

So where to start.  First I'm going to post info about my upcoming class on Oct 24th.  I have already given a few sneak peeks of what we'll be doing, so now I'll give you the full view of one of the cards:

This is one of the cards out of  three that we'll be doing.  This little guy is just too cute, and you know me - love bling - so his antenna's have little rhinestones, hard to see on the photo.

Oct 24th - 1pm to 4pm  sorry stampers only 2 seats left, so register quickly!!

I also have finished one of the Stamp Camp which was held on Oct 3rd.  What a blast, we made 200 cards all together.  Busy,BUSY,Busy can not be understated, and the stampers LOVED every minute.  Of course I feed them all too, so that helped.  But really, what better way to get a jump start on your Christmas Cards then through an event like this.  There is another coming up on Nov 7th and at this moment I am full - BUT, you never know, someone may cancel, so if you are interested please call and put your name on the wait list.  You never know, you may get all those cards done!  Here are a couple of Christmas cards I've been playing around with, as well as ONE that the Nov 7th ladies will be doing.  Now I'm not going to tell you guys which is the Nov 7th one because I want it to be a surprise, but feel free to take a guess at which one we'll be doing,  It is a very special card and was the favorite of everyone at the last Stamp Camp!

This one is a snow globe, which has snowy glitter inside the little globe.
" Peace on Earth"

This is called Bells & Boughs, one of our new stamps sets from the Holiday Mini.  Of course it requires some glitter around the oval.  Love this little card.  Uses the new ribbon called 1/2 " seaming binding - strange ribbon name, don't you think?  But that's what the mini says - page 21.
Glitter around the oval and it too is on the same page.  I love the glitter .....

Although this picture is not showing you how wonderful the silvers and blues are, that is the colors.  Sorry, perhaps a photographer I am not.  But as you can see the ornaments are in 3D.  Isn't that cool.

Oh yes!!!  I must show you my project I finished today!!  It is SO MUCH FUN to do, and you can really play around with it a lot:

OK, I know the top of the roof looks a little funny, I was trying to make it look like snow!  Then tried to fix it up with LOTS & LOTS of glitter.  All in all, I am happy with it.  It's perfect for putting a little battery operated light in on a table.  Awesome little accent for the holidays, and guess what!  Yep, it's in the Holiday Mini on page 37 and is very inexpensive at only $ 7.50 - need one - give me a call and I can take care of that for you.
